Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot Weak Create Music Results by Symptom

Name what sounds wrong, map it to Style, Lyrics, structure, or production, then fix one layer at a time on MusicGenerator.

This tip is written in English. More languages are coming.

Name the audible symptom before the fix

“It sounds bad” is not actionable. Prefer: flat chorus, interchangeable sections, muddy mids, buried vocal, off-genre drums, lyric mush, weak ending. Write the timestamp where the failure is obvious.

  • Structure symptoms → Lyrics section jobs and Meta Tags.
  • Bed / genre symptoms → Style home genre and instrument roles.
  • Vocal symptoms → Style vocal knobs or Persona.
  • Mix symptoms → Style production words; confirm with Split Music.
  • Ending symptoms → Extend Music on a strong take.

Fix flat or interchangeable sections

If verse and chorus feel the same, raise Lyrics contrast first: shorter chorus lines, clearer title phrase, distinct Pre-Chorus. Then ask Style for an arrangement lift into the hook — not a new genre.

Fix crowded or muddy arrangements

Remove one midrange instrument from Style before adding EQ adjectives. Re-state roles (pulse / bass / harmony / lead color / vocal lane). Use Split Music to hear whether instruments already fill the vocal’s frequency space.

Fix vocal and lyric problems on the right layer

Unsingable lines → Lyrics rewrite or Song Lyrics Generator draft. Wrong singer character → Style vocal knobs or Persona. Good words, bad placement in the mix → production/distance language in Style.

Run a one-change repair loop

Reproduce the failure at the same timestamp. Change one category. Regenerate. Confirm the fix at the original timestamp before celebrating. If two repairs fail, restart from a simpler baseline rather than stacking patches.

Know when to Extend a strong middle instead of regenerating the whole song, and when to abandon a take whose home genre never matched the brief.
