Production Words for Space, Width, and Tone in Style
Replace vague praise in Style with audible space, stereo width, and tone language you can A/B on Create Music.
このTipsは英語で書かれています。他言語は今後追加予定です。
Swap praise for properties you can hear
Words like “epic”, “professional”, or “radio ready” do not tell Create Music what to change. Prefer properties: room size, early reflections, stereo spread, high-frequency edge, low-end weight.
Describe space in three dimensions: distance of the vocal, size of the room around the drums, and how long tails linger.
Separate stereo width from arrangement size
A wide stereo image is not the same as a dense arrangement. You can have a sparse song that feels wide, or a busy song that feels mono and cramped. Control them independently in Style.
Density (how many parts play) and dynamics (how hard they hit) are also separate — say “sparse but punchy” or “lush but soft” when that is the goal.
Place the vocal relative to the bed
State whether the lead sits dry and forward, slightly back in a small room, or washed in a larger hall. That single clause prevents Style from burying a good Lyrics performance.
Make one contrast pair before stacking adjectives: close/dry vs roomy/distant, narrow vs wide, bright vs warm. Generate two takes that differ only on that pair.
Keep a small production vocabulary matrix
Space: dry / small room / large hall. Width: centered / gently wide / very wide. Tone: dark-warm / neutral / bright-airy. Pick one from each column for Style.
When you want to chase a known production character from audio you have rights to, Reference Audio (Custom Mode or library More Options) is often clearer than inventing more adjectives — see the Guide Reference section.
Compare the same section at the same level
A/B only the chorus, matched loudness, same Lyrics. Production language that only “wins” because one take is louder is not a win.
Tools like Slowed and Reverb Generator are for post effects on an exported file — not a substitute for clear Style production cues at generation time.
